Hazel Geddis qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1991 gaining both residential and commercial property experience working for several top London surveying firms. On moving to the South West 27 years ago, she decided to specialise in residential property surveying, joining a large corporate surveying company who she worked with for 7 years as a senior surveyor.

Frustrated at the lack of personal service a large corporate firm could provide, Hazel left to set up her own independent surveying practice 14 years ago.

Devon Property Surveyors Ltd is based in Budleigh Salterton in Devon and provides both Residential Survey and Valuation Reports and Energy Assessments.

Personal Service and Expert Advice

Devon Property Surveyors Ltd offers a personal but professional service and prides itself on a high level of customer service, helping clients through the home buying process.

As well as providing a comprehensive survey to a client, advice can be given on specialist reports that may have to be obtained or legal and valuation issues that may arise from the survey. We are more than happy to liaise with other professionals involved in the purchase such as the Estate Agent, Mortgage Adviser, Conveyancer or Specialist Contractor.

Our end goal is to help the home buying process go as smoothly as possible with expert advice and good communication. We can provide both and are always happy to talk through any concerns or issues with you the client.
